Destiny 2 Guide: How to Find the Navigator Exotic Trace Rifle in Destiny 2

In Destiny 2 new Season of the Deep, there are various quests and weapons added in the game. Some players are willing to complete the latest activities to obtain good weapon drops. One of the latest weapon is the Navigator Exotic. They expect to know how to find it in the game. You can read this article for guidance. Players can use Cheap D2 Silver to purchase good weapons for characters and beat more enemies in battle.

How to Get the Navigator Exotic Trace Rifle in Destiny 2
The Navigator is a random drop from the Ghosts of the Deep dungeon, meaning that a lot of its acquisition will come down to luck. It’s one of the potential pieces of loot players can get from completing the final encounter, so most players will no doubt be familiarizing themselves with the dungeon every week in their crusade to get their hands on this lucrative reward.

Luckily, there are a few ways to make obtaining The Navigator easier. Over the past few dungeon releases, Bungie has introduced ways of increasing the drop rate chance for the included Exotic weapon. These come in the form of Triumph rewards. Certain Ghosts of the Deep Triumphs, such as completing the dungeon solo in one session, will increase the drop rate of The Navigator on future runs after being claimed. You can have a look at what your current drop rate bonus is after selecting the dungeon and hovering over the Exotic Engram icon on the left side of the screen.

How to Improve The Navigator Drop Rate in Destiny 2
Just as the Hierarchy of Needs bow, you can increase The Navigator’s drop rate by completing these triumphs;

Deny Death: Complete all encounters in the Ghosts of the Deep Dungeon without dying or leaving the activity.
Alone in the Deep: Complete all encounters in the Ghosts of the Deep dungeon solo without leaving the activity.
King of the Deep: Complete all encounters in the Ghosts of the Deep dungeon solo without dying or leaving the activity.
Sovereign: Complete the Ghosts of the Deep Dungeon on Master difficulty.
In Memoriam: Find and listen to each memory of Darkness throughout the Ghosts of the Deep Dungeon.

How to Get the Navigator Exotic Catalyst in Destiny 2
This is one of the few Exotics in the game for which you will have to solve a small secret puzzle before each encounter in the Ghosts of the Deep dungeon in Destiny 2. In these puzzles, you will have to find a pile of dead Ghosts and then interact with them.

This should give you the Vestige of Light buff. You need to then take this buff and deposit it at a Hive ritual altar close by. When you do this, a yellow-bar enemy will spawn.

After you've lit all three Hive altars and you've managed to defeat the enemy that spawns every time you interact with the said altars, you'll have to complete the final encounter in the dungeon. You'll get the catalyst from the final chest after you've defeated Simmumah Ur-Nokru.

How The Navigator Catalyst Works in Destiny 2
Once players have the Catalyst, they will first have to upgrade it to Masterwork before applying it. It's unclear how many kills are needed to unlock the upgrade, but the estimate is around 400 to 500 kills for a typical Special ammo Exotic weapon.

The Navigator Catalyst allows players to use a special reload function (hold down R), and then fire the weapon to spawn a Grapple Tangle at the target location. On top of The Navigator already granting allies and the user Woven Mail, this is another cool utility feature that players on Strand subclasses can take advantage of.

If players are interested in the Navigator Exotic Rifle in Destiny 2, you can read this article for guidance. And you can Buy Destiny 2 Silver to unlock the new weapon skin or item in the new season.
