Rainbow Six Siege is a first-person shooter. And like most shooters, guns play a huge role in your success. The third season of Rainbow Six Siege's Year 3 will kick off with the new Operation that adds Clash and Maverick to the game, a Defender and Attacker, respectively. Ubisoft's trailer released weeks ago shows the two Operators in action along with some gameplay tips for playing as and against them. A walk through of that map was shared in a trailer released by Ubisoft in early August that gave a first look at the reworked map. This map makeover contains many twists and should be treated as a new map: the iconic and recently renovated Hereford Base.

Operation Grim Sky is currently available to play via Siege's PC-exclusive testing server, and it seems that testers had a lot of Maverick-focused feedback to provide. Operation Grim Sky will be launching on the Rainbow Six Siege test server later, with a public server release planned for sometime next month.
 
The Consulate map is also receiving a buff as part of the Operation Grim Sky update. In addition to the new Operators, Grim Sky makes a significant overhaul to Hereford Base, one of the game's first maps. Ubisoft says this is the first such map overhaul the development team has undertaken in Rainbow Six Siege.
