We've gotten a sneak peak at the upcoming Blitz Elite skin for Rainbow Six Siege, as well as what appears to be a new set of Halloween skins set to spook up your October. Rainbow Six Siege's new patch rolled out days ago and was a smaller one with some general bugfixes included alongside harsher teamkilling penalties, but at least one player noticed that a Halloween teaser seemed to have inadvertently squeezed through the update. At the start of the game, a reddit user noticed an event playlist that presented the house card in a special Halloween look and also featured several suitably dressed operators.
 
Halloween in the House?
 
A short time later, according to statements, it disappeared again. Obviously, this is a temporary event that will one day be held. The artwork not only promises special skins for the operators, an appropriate adaptation of the card in terms of Halloween is also added. Maybe we can expect soon with an official announcement from Ubisoft.

 

Will House be Whipped up for Halloween?
 
Reddit user captured the leak with a screenshot of the main menu. There's a fancy new shield, and Blitz appears to be experimenting with a splash of colour, all tan and brown, but it's at least a step beyond black. Players were quick to point out that this looks to be hinting at a Halloween-themed version of the map House with orange lights and ghostly figures included in the popup. For a few brief moments, the page showed something that could really postpone to a tactical shooter Halloween event. They are simply the same Halloween skins that were leaked last month, you can see them at the bottom, with new ghostly looks for Jager, Vigil, Thermite and Valkyrie. In the figure shown we see the place redecorated in a somber and macabre way, in addition to a possible new skin. The skin can be of the operator Valkyrie because of the similarities to its standard look. Fortunately, the previously mentioned Reddit user could previously make a screenshot as proof. It's not clear at this stage whether the changes are nothing more than visual, but the message also teases upcoming skins that look nothing like any of the skins available.
 
More news on Rainbow Six Siege's Halloween event is expected to come sometime soon if that's indeed what Ubisoft has planned. Thermite looks like he's halfway through that scene at the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark. More updates are expected to come before then, but Ubisoft's latest most recent changelist made some sweeping changes to teamkilling that those who grow frustrated with their teammates will want to take note of. The first infractions were used to simply kick out players from a game, but now they will involve a 30-minute matchmaking ban.
