Trove is a sandbox based MMORPG developed and published by Trion Worlds, available on PS4, Xbox One, Mac OS, and Microsoft Windows. In Trove only three of the equipable slot items can be obtained from defeating hostiles, dissimillar with traditional sandbox game. The Battle Arena is a newly released multiplayer pvp mode that players can figth with each other, but limited in the Battle Portal.
 


Pvp will taking players into a bettle arena, in which total 10 players tangled together, which need teamwork and team consciousness. Currently there are two types of PvP: Capture the Flag and Team Deathmatch. Capture the Flag (CTF) is a game mode that two teams battle against each other while having the main objective of capturig the flags. At the end of the game, the team with most flags win the CTF. Mounts or wings are not allowed to equiped. Team Deathmatch (TDM) is a gamemode that two teams battle against each others to kill them.When there’s only one team players survice in the arena, they win the game.
 
With the recent patch, the hub was slightly modified. There’s a new portal with a skull on it. The basics of CTF have two side, to capture your foe’s flag, and to prevent your flags be captured by your foes. How to capture a flag? To capture your enemies’ flags is not as easy as it sounds. You cannot dodge or use any skills to increase your mobility. Once you capture a flag, a vertical light beam will suggest your enemies where you are. To organize your defense, you can jump while you run, this will make it harder for your enemies to aim at you and decrease the chance they hit you. Stun or slow skills are suitable for the CTF. High mobility character will have a higher chance of survice.
