Trove is an open-map pixel-based sandbox MMORPG, features fantasy game world, various mobs, abundant of quests, crafts, pets, mounts, etc.
 
Vendors play an important role in Trove which make the game more vivid and convenient, offering various of necessities, consumables and commodities. There’re total four kinds of vendors in Trove: Shadowy Market, Radiant Merchant, Shadowy Treasure Isles Trader, and Saltwater Sam.
 


Due to the pixel graphics style, sometimes NPCs are not vary from mobs in shape, for example, the Shadowy Treasure Isles Trader looks like a single-hand sword pirate. But the Shadowy Treasure Isles Trader can be only found at Drowned World Portals in his fleet.
 
The only good of Shadowy Treasure Isles Trader is Jelly Knight, which is a vendor exclusive mount. It’s a ball type mount. Ball mount is a kind of mount that appear as a bouncy ball that can be drove for travel, some of the ball mounts also features a pair of dynamic wings to show an attempt of flying. When it stored in your inventory, the addition part of the amount(wings, scarfs, or tails) are invisible.
 
Ball mounts move in a jump-jump like pattern, instead of legs walking. The price of Jelly Knight is 7,000 Flux now. The Shadowy treasure Isles Trader also sells some other mounts when in holidays.
 


Shadowy Market is the NPC merchant in Shadow Arena, appears after the boss fight. That vendor can help players to craft Shaper’s Vision and Shaper’s Star Key with self-provided Titan Soul. Both the material and crafts are not tradable.
 
The Titan Soul can be get from the boss Shadow Titan, which refreshes once a week. Different difficulties level reward you with different amount of Titan Souls. Players can collect total 39 souls a week. Although Shadowy Market named as a “market”, it just provide the crafting service without any tangible products.
 
The Radiant Merchant is the most common seen NPC vendor in the game, who stands in the Hub World, the center district of the game. The currency to buy the Empowered Gem Box, Titan’s Treasure, Golden Chaos Chest, and Party Animal is the Radiant Sovereign.
 
The Radiant Sovereign is a kind of unique currency can be only used to buy packs or boxes from Radiant Merchant. And the only access to get the Radiant Sovereigns is to buy it from store with credits and paragons’ Boons.
 


Saltwater Sam is the last NPC merchant in the article, it also can be found in Hub World. As the name suggests, it’s a hub of portal that connects every maps together, it’s the way must be passed for every player every day.
 
Saltwater Sam sells various kinds of boats and fishing equipment: SS Dinghy, Worn Sail, Simple Sail, Jolly Roger, Basic Fishing Pole, Lures and so on. It’s very annoying when you fishing but find no lures, so please buy at least 1,000 lures once you pass by the Hub World since the lures are cheap enough for every to afford it.
