Pokemon Go will be holding a limited-time Cleffa Hatch Day event on April 28th from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, which will feature Cleffa as the featured Pokemon for the Hatch Day, the second generation of the series goblin-type Pokemon.
 
In addition to Hatch Day having the typical bonuses for this type of event, there will also be active extended bonuses in the days leading up to that event. Featured Pokemon: Cleffa
Cleffa will be the featured Pokemon for this Hatch Day, and your chances of hatching Cleffa from 2km of Eggs during the three hours of Hatch Day will be greatly increased. While your chances of hatching Cleffa from these eggs are much higher, it is still possible to hatch other Pokemon. The easiest way to get different 2-kilometer eggs is to spin different PokeStop in Pokemon Go.
 
Since Cleffa is the featured Pokemon on this Hatch Day, the chances of a Cleffa hatching from an Egg on this Hatch Day and becoming a Shiny will be significantly higher. You will need to make sure that you obtain and hatch as many eggs as possible within two kilometers of the limited-time event to increase your odds of hatching a Shiny Cleffa. To maximize your chances of getting a Shiny Cleffa during this event, make sure you walk around and travel the distance during this hatching day. This will allow you to keep hatching and getting new eggs throughout the event.
 
Hatch Day Bonuses in Pokemon Go
During this three-hour hatching day, all players will receive egg-themed rewards. The rewards earned are in line with the focus of this event and will allow you to acquire and hatch more eggs and increase the rewards for doing so. This bonus includes:
 
Twice the Candy from Hatching Eggs: Receive double the candy when you hatch eggs, enhancing your ability to power up and evolve your Pokemon.

1/2 Egg Hatch Distance: Eggs placed into Incubators during the event period will only require half the usual distance to hatch.

Increased 2 km Egg Drops: Increased 2 km Egg Drops: PokeStops will drop 2 km Eggs more frequently, increasing the probability of players getting Cleffa.
 
Event Research
While spinning photo discs at PokeStops, you can complete activity-themed field research tasks that reward stardust and XP.
 
Free Event Timed Research
At the start of the hatch day, you will be granted access to the event-timed research. It is free to all players who log in and play the game during the three hours of the event. Completing the different requirements of this timed study will provide you with Super Incubators and XP. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to unlock unique rewards such as limited-time pets, special equipment, or rare props. Players need to be careful to complete this research before the limited time research, logging in to the game after that time the rewards will expire.
 
Paid Event Timed Research
This timed study costs $1. To complete this Event Timed Research, you need to travel 2 kilometers in Pokemon Go and hatch an egg, rewarding you with a Star Shard, Super Incubator, and XP. Players who have purchased the timed study will receive twice the amount of Hatching Egg Stardust for the entire duration of the event.
