The third chapter of the Uncharted Waters Online “Episode Atlantis” expansion has been released, entitled “Chapter: Acropolis”. This new venture introduces a wealth of new features, quests and much more for players to explore the high seas with.

This new update will finally allow players to access Atlantis, whilst sailing on three new ships to traverse the world in. Set sail aboard the Dauphin Royal, Felipe or Polar Expedition Ketch modelled after historic ships in your journey to new quests and other discoveries. The Dauphin Royal for example, was part of the Nine Years’ War under the command of the victorious admiral Tourville. Felipe meanwhile is a hefty Spanish galleon capable of transporting large cargo, and the Polar Expedition Ketch, modelled after HMS Racehorse, presents a Naval Bomb reworked for arctic exploration.

Upon reaching Acropolis, this new update brings a new set of quests to the game, including a new endless dungeon known as the Acropolis Temple Dungeon. Situations like these will give players the opportunity to test the updated Land Battle System, which should prove an easier task thanks to the reduced difficulty. Quests completed in Acropolis will also bring unique rewards, that will help assist the nation towards victory. Other features include completing Sacred Edicts, used to construct the Solar Barge in order to reach Atlantis. Once the temple in Atlantis has been visited, player can get their hands on blessings to provide themselves with special effects.

The open world sandbox of Uncharted Waters Online is the most expansive historically-based MMO currently in circulation. Set between the 16th and 19th century in the Age of Sail, players take to a meticulously detailed map, geographically modelled and crammed full of content as players engage in trade, warfare and discovery.
